About us
About Nepali Infopedia
Nepali Infopedia is an independent knowledge website about Nepal, written in English for readers in Nepal and in the Nepali diaspora.
What this site is
Nepali Infopedia publishes explanatory articles about Nepal: agriculture and food crops, education and study opportunities, history, notable people, social problems and civic awareness, and digital safety. Our aim is straightforward. When somebody searches for a basic question about Nepal, we want them to find a clear answer in plain English, without having to sort through auto-generated pages or unrelated content.
Who publishes it
The website is owned and operated by NepaliInfopedia LLC, a business registered at 32 Washington Pl, New York, NY 10003, USA. You can reach the editorial team by email at [email protected] or by phone on +1-689-374-8328.
How we write
Every article on this site is written by a human editor. We do not publish pages generated purely to capture search traffic, and we do not present speculation as fact. Where a topic is technical - a visa process, a university admission step, a licencing requirement - we describe the general process and point readers to the official source, because rules and dates change.
We avoid claims in areas that require professional advice. We do not give medical advice, we do not recommend specific investments, and we do not guarantee outcomes for applications, visas, admissions or examinations. Nothing on this website is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or from the relevant authority.
How we handle corrections
If you find an error, please tell us. Email [email protected] with the page address and the specific point that is wrong. We review corrections and update the article when the correction is supported, noting the change date at the foot of the page.
Images and licensing
Photographs used on this site come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences (Creative Commons or public domain). Each image is credited next to the article and listed in full on our image credits page, together with the licence and the source file. If you believe an image has been used incorrectly, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Advertising and independence
This website is free to read and may in future display advertising. Advertising does not influence editorial content, and sponsored material, if it ever appears, will be labelled as such. We do not sell links, and we do not accept payment to change the substance of an article.
How to contact us
The fastest route is the contact page, which lists our email address and phone number. Please include the page URL if your message concerns a specific article.
